this white christmas rose is blooming outside my kitchen window, with heather (erica) on both sides. when snow finally arrived last week, everything looked as it should ... after all, the german name of the flower is "schneerose" or "snow rose" ...
(in the meantime, temperatures are above freezing again, the snow has disappeared, and it's raining ...)

@Mariana M.: fortunately, this is not the case! these are real and true winter flowers, that bloom in nature (in wooded areas) from around christmas - hence the name - to the beginning of spring! this picture of last march shows one that i have in my garden. as soon as the weather allows it, i will move the one in today's picture from the window flower box and plant it in my garden, too. happy birthday once again!!
