new york city, may 201 (18) - last in series

pictures from the "big apple" - some rather traditional, others more personal, but all trying to show the uniqueness of the place and my fascination with it!

hmm - 82mm für ein Panorama? Hast du hier mehrere Bilder zusammengesetzt oder ein größeres im Panoramaformat beschnitten?
Egal; das Ergebnis ist einfach wunderschön.
Es war eine aufregende und durchaus ungewöhnliche Bilderreise durch den Big Apple.

@Roman: danke für das positive feedback! freut mich, dass dir die wanderung durch manhattan gefallen hat! du hast natürlich recht mit deiner vermutung - ich habe einfach ein "normales" foto zu einem panorama beschnitten. das geht bei diesen lichtverhältnissen und bei niedrigem ISO wert recht gut!

Franz, I saw this image while I was travelling, and I meant to comment to it when I return, as I believe it is one of your best images, but I don't remember to be so wide. Now looks like a panorama, while when I saw it first, looked like a closer up image...
Anyway, regardless, I love the colors in this image, and I love the image. It is rare for me to feel that way when I see a photo of a large city, because I don't care for large cities, I prefer little villages and nature, mostly, but I guess, a good photo, is a good photo, no matter what it represents, and that is why I admire this photo. Great job!
