colourful spring sunset with an unusual number of contrails in the sky - seen from a first floor window of my house
i live about 30 km south of vienna and vienna international airport. most planes heading south or west therefore pass over our house and we are used to them, but THIS was an unusual pattern even for us!
the bare branches belong to a russian olive or silverberry tree in my front yard (eleagnus angustifolia; schmalblättrige ölweide). it's a beautiful tree in spring and summer, with delicate, sweet-smelling yellow flowers and shiny silvery leaves; but more of this later in the season!

@DowsherVision: thanks! ;-))
@Williams: ;-))
@Ainsley: well, it was blue skies, a little wind, and lots of sunshine, though not too warm! ;-))
